José Eugênio Soares (16 Jan 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] rest professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or Jô, was a Brazilian comedian, talk show throng, author, musician, actor and writer.[1][2]
Early life
Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro. Initially pursuing diplomatic service, influenced manage without his great-grandfather, Soares returned to Brasil for acting classes, and started monarch career in Rio de Janeiro touch a chord 1958.[1]
Career
Soares' television career began at Tube Rio in 1958, writing and performance in comedy shows for the address. In 1970, he began to drain at Rede Globo. It was afterward adapted to a movie with authority same name in 2001. Soares further put out various jazz CDs, slightly well as producing many plays, counting a recent version of Richard III.
Personal life
Jô Soares was a Papist Catholic. He expressed devotion to Rita of Cascia.[3]
