Rajendra Prasanna (राजेन्द्र प्रसन्ना; 15 April ) is an Asiatic classicalflautist and shehnai (Indian oboe) contender from Benares Gharana.[1]

Career

Rajendra was born lineage Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He be told music from his father Raghunath Prasanna and from his uncles Bholanath Prasanna and Vishnu Prasanna. His family stiff to Delhi in the early 1970s, and he later became the apprentice of Hafeez Ahmed Khan and Sarfaraz Hussain Khan. He also took edify from singer Mahadev Mishra of Benares Gharana.

Performances

He performed at the Capital festival (UK), Sydney Opera House, WOMAD Festival (Australia, New Zealand),[2] World Tune euphony festival for golden jubilee celebration fulfill India's Independence held in America, Canada and Switzerland (U.N.O. Headquarters) in , Concert for George in London (Ravi Shankar project), Opera de Lyon grip France. [3]
