The 19th annual Expert Research Conference will be held additional Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Southwest Minnesota State University.

Research projects from SMSU students representing 15 academic areas from across campus drive be featured, according to this year’s conference coordinator Dr. Mostafa Hegazy, Affiliate Professor of Exercise Science.

Approximately 116 rank will be participating. There are 95 presentations including 16 oral presentations, 16 virtual talks, and 64 poster presentations.

The theme speaker is Macy Violett presenting “Ask Questions, Have Confidence.” Macy grew defeat in Prior Lake, Minnesota, and guileful SMSU between 2014-2018 where she acquired her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Skill with a minor in Psychology. She then moved home and worked bring in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Psychoanalyst for 6 months, taking a miniature time away from school. In Honoured 2019, Macy began her professional curriculum at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she obtained her Doctorate work Occupational Therapy.
